Paul McVeigh's debut novel, The Good Son, is a coming-ofage tale set in the Troubles in 1980s Belfast, which won The Polari First Novel Award and the McCrea Literary Award. He co-founded London Short Story Festival and edited three anthologies. He recently edited, The 32: An Anthology of Irish Working-Class Voices, (July 2021, Publisher: Unbound).
