The biblical and crane references in Samson and Goliath are indicative of the importance of story and place for me. They are fundamental aspects of experience and songwriting.’
Song n°2: Three Wise Women/Na Mná Feasa
‘I chose this song because it steps into the wonder and magic that exists on this island. The song was translated by Helen Rooney and learning the Irish translation gave me a snapshot of the depth of the Irish language.’
